Birdwatching in Almeria

We had an outstanding day's birdwatching with Jesus in Cabo de Gata. As well as being a wildlife expert, he's full of enthusiasm for the region and its birds. We started at 9, and he was still going strong at 18.30!

I'm a keen birder, so he tailored the visit to my interests. We visited a lot of places in his 4x4, and I saw four birds I'd never seen before, despite several birding trips to Spain. The climax of the day was seeing two black-bellied sandgrouse; Jesus had been searching for these all day for me. he's a terrific guy.

I'll be booking another trip next time I come out. Thank you Jesus! We had a tremendous day with you.
