The Costa de Almeria became a synonym for Golf Spain and Sun amongst Golf insiders a long time ago. This is why more and more Golf sportsmen, when thinking of enjoying golf in Spain, not only plan their trip to Spain, but combine the sport that they enjoy so much with unforgettable holidays in Almeria.
If you want to try as many golf courses as possible during one vacation, there won't be much time left for all the other marvelous activities that are available You will have to come back frequently if you don't want to miss any of them. You see, if you asked me for my opinion of which one would be the best, I would not be able to decide. Choosing any of them for your next Almeria golf holiday has become even more difficult lately, because there are two brand new, splendid courses to be added to the list.
There are now ten of them!
You may tee off in a desert-style golf course, unique in Europe, or visit Sierra de Gádor, the Valle del Amanzora or the brand new course at the gateway of Cabo de Gata, with its fantastic beach views.
Don't worry about the weather, sunshine and warm temperatures are almost guaranteed throughout the year, after all, you are in Almeria!
I have been contacting each one of the golf clubs in Almeria and together with my husband visited some of them for you and...PHEW!...I know what you are thinking - 'Can't wait to retire'.
